Bukit Lawang is a charming village located on the eastern side of Gunung Leuser National Park, approximately 3-4 hours from Medan by taxi, bus or motorbike. There is also the possibility to take a public bus from Pinang Baris (bus station in Medan).

Wisma Leuser Sibayak is situated on the bank of the river just over the footbridge from the drop-off point (there are no cars allowed beyond the dropoff point in Bukit Lawang), approximately 200 meters away. The bus station is approximately 1km from our guesthouse. Regardless of how you get to Bukit Lawang, if you let us know your plans in advance we will greet you upon arrival to help with any luggage and show you the way.

Our guesthouse is centrally-located, and is one of the closest river properties to the Mt. Leuser National Park entrance. Wisma Leuser Sibayak is a great base from which to go trekking, tubing or to just relax and enjoy the scenery.
